article... where do they go in yours... ?

housekeeping... usually I categorize things as Covid related if that is the subject in any part of the post.
But.. I think that the pandemic is so pervasive, scary, politicized, depressing, killing!,... I'm sure it colors my subjectivity!

so all the posts from March 2020 onward fit there too.

Who are We and Why ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Itsa Village is the online presence of a group of women who meet IRL twice a month to talk about aging, living and dying, health, money, funerals, ageism, etc. And to share our joys and sorrows as we experience this life as Women and as Elders, Olders, Crones, or Hags. Along the way, we are claiming and usually redefining these words, for ourselves and others. We've come to understand that we need Community to continue aging as independently as possible. Yes, the capital C Community. So for us, community equals Interdependence which equals a greater freedom than we might manage on our own as time moves on for us all.

Our Rules

What happens in the group stays in the group, including the names of members.
Stay on the subject as much as you/we can. (Sometimes the tangents are valuable; sometimes no.)
Don't offer advice unless it is specifically invited.
